West Seneca Police are being assisted by the Erie County Sheriff's Office after a suspicious incident in The Home Depot store on Ridge Road in West Seneca.
The store was evacuated just before 11 a.m. after police say an employee found materials sold in the store in a suspicious location.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad responded to the scene and investigated. The bomb squad determined the items were not an immediate threat.

The items were taken back to the the bomb squad's facility where the investigation continues with help from the West Seneca Police Department.
West Seneca PD says it will prosecute to the fullest extent if anything criminal is found.
WSPD applauds the employee who reported the suspicious items and encourages citizens if you "see something, say something."
No injuries were reported, although there was an unrelated first-aid call to the store shortly before the suspicious items were found.
Police cleared West Seneca Home Depot store and allowed it to reopen around 1 p.m.
