POLICE: Student planned to "murder someone"

A Baker Victory Services High School student is facing charges after police say he brought a knife to school, and told people he wanted to murder someone.

Lackawanna Police were called to the high school on Ridge Road for a complaint of a student with a weapon.  Police say security at the school found a knife hidden in Victor Martinez's shoe.  Martinez is a student at the school, and told staff members he brought the knife to school to "murder someone".

Martinez is charged with Harrassment in the 2nd Degree.
