We now know somebody who won't be running for one of the biggest races in Democracy 2019.
A spokesperson for Stefan Mychajliw says the Erie County Comptroller is not going to run for the County Executive's office next year.
Instead, Mychajliw plans to run for Congress in the 27th district if, and when that seat opens up.
That seat was just won by incumbent Republican Chris Collins, who was just re-elected in a tight race.
Collins is expected to face trial on charges of insider trading in 2020.
