Binge eating ice cream sound like fun?
Hertel Avenue Poutine & Cream will host its first ever Ice Cream Eating Contest on Saturday, May 12th at 11:30 a.m.
To compete:
- Register in-person at Poutine & Cream
- Pay a nonrefundable $15 registration fee
Organizers will accept only 24 competitors on a first come, first basis. The contest is open to all genders and ages and compete on the same level.
They will be judged on the total weight of ice cream eaten in five minutes. First place will win a cash prize. Second and third will also be awarded (hopefully something sweet!)
“Our ice cream products are very popular with customers and we wanted to celebrate the long-awaited arrival of warmer weather,” said co-owner Jake Fraser. “What better way, than with a friendly little all-ages ice cream competition.”
The restaurant is located on 1488 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo.
