A magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit near Mexico City Tuesday.
The epicenter was near the town of Raboso, about 75 miles southeast of Mexico City.
There are no immediate reports on injuries or the extent of damage.
The quake happened just hours after buildings across Mexico City held preparation drills to mark the anniversary of the 1985 earthquake that killed at least 5,000 people.
