Depew Police are reminding you to not leave empty boxes from your holiday gifts outside your home. Police say these boxes act as "billboards" for thieves and burglars, and advertise what's new in your home
Police suggest breaking down all boxes and making sure you put them in a garbage or recycle bin. You should also make sure no serial numbers are visible, and that you're not getting rid of anything that has personal information on it. Lastly, police say if you see anything that seems suspicious, you should say something.
