BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State Police have issued a warning about a Social Security scam that's going around.
Police say someone has been calling around identifying themselves as a member of the DEA.
The caller says your Social Security number is being suspended.
If it happens to you, just hang up, and never share your personal information.
Authorities say the DEA has no affiliation with Social Security.
