A woman needed nine stitches after says she was assaulted over a parking spot at the Walden Galleria.

Christi Kramarz says she was pulling into an empty parking spot in the Best Buy lot Thursday evening when a vehicle pulled up behind her, blocking her in.

"Suddenly, my car is blocked in, there's a horn blaring and someone's pounding on my window," Kramarz recalled. She said the passenger of the vehicle approached her and yelled, "'You're an [expletive], move the [expletive] car."

Kramarz says that woman retreated but moments later another woman came up to her window and pounded on it. "[I said] why do you want my spot? She just goes and punches me right in the face, closed fist with rings on."

The punch caused Kramarz's eyes to fill with blood and her vision became blurred. She says she believes the women were driving a red colored SUV. She describes the woman who punched her as a black woman between 30 and 40-years-old, about 5'4" tall and weighing around 200 pounds.

After the SUV fled the scene, Kramarz says other people who witnessed the attack in the parking lot came up to help her. She was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital and received nine stitches.

"Mall security was basically nowhere to be found," said Kramarz. "It was a roving camera in the area where I was and they couldn't see at that exact moment anything."

The Walden Galleria told 7 Eyewitness News it had "no comment" about the alleged assault.

Cheektowaga Police are investigating, but say because the incident was not caught on camera they are having a hard time tracking down whoever allegedly threw the punch.

Kramarz is hoping someone who may have seen or heard something will come forward.

"Anybody who saw anything please come forward. We need to find these two women. They hurt me and they could hurt someone else 10 times worse."
