It may not feel much like spring just yet, but lawmakers are pushing to make sure local roads are pedestrian-friendly in time for the nicer weather.
State Senator Tim Kennedy and Assemblyman Sean Ryan are calling on the state to include extra money in this year's budget to revamp roadways that have sidewalks, bike lanes and crosswalks. They also want to see some work done on traffic calming measures.
