A longtime Western New York company is closing its doors for good.
According to the Labor Department, P.W. Minor, a shoemaker in Batavia, shut its plant down on Friday.
The company announced layoffs in September in an attempt to restructure.
P.W. Minor had been in business for more than 150 years. It was the second oldest footwear manufacturer in the country.
