P.W. Minor, a shoemaker in Batavia that's been in business since 1866, is considering layoffs as it restructures.
As first reported by The Batavian, the staff was sent home Monday for the week with pay.
There are currently 85 employees at the Treadeasy Avenue plant.
The company is in discussions with investors as they try to save as many jobs as possible.
More information is expected to come out by the end of the day Thursday.
