A reckless driver reported in the Town of Lockport caused a three car accident after running through a red light.
Niagara County Sheriff's Office says the caller who made the report was pursued by the reckless driver in the area of Keck Road and East High Street.
Deputies say when they tried to stop the driver at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Akron Road, he drove away towards the City of Lockport.
He eventually drove through a red light at the intersection of Akron and Davison Roads, hitting two other cars, according to officials.
Deputies say people in all three cars had minor injuries.
Officials say the suspect driver is Alexis Cruz, 20, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, with additional charges pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
