A lockdown has been lifted at Sweet Home High School after Amherst Police determined there was no threat to the campus community.
The lockdown went into effect around 2:10 p.m. after police say a student thought she heard a gunshot in the parking lot.
Officers searched the area but found no evidence that a gun had been fired.
Students will be released under police supervision as a precaution.
