Police and rescue crews rushed to Niagara Falls after learning a woman had been swept over the waterfall at Prospect Point.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. on Saturday. After interviewing witnesses, Parks Police say they determined that a white woman in her 40s 'intentionally entered' the Falls trying to harm herself.
The victim was not located. A search for the woman will resume Sunday morning.
