Say Yes is launching a new Dorm Drive program for students who are preparing to pursue higher education but face daunting personal obstacles.
Senator Tim Kennedy and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced a new survival kit Tuesday aimed at helping to equip the city's Say Yes scholars.
The kit helps students with basic college essentials such as laundry, bedding and personal care items.
City leaders hope this drive will help send scholars into their first semesters fully prepared, both inside and outside the classroom.
The collection drive runs through September 30th. At that time, all donations will be distributed to Say Yes graduates in need.
