Jamestown Police responded to a call of shots fired on Prendergast on Wednesday night.

Once on the scene, police found out two shots were fired by 28-year old Jonathan Negron-Rosario after being confronted by another man with a baseball bat during some kind of argument.

The shooter ran off, but police picked him up a short time later with the gun he fired.

The gun was stolen from Camden, New Jersey back in 1993.

Negron-Rosario was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, possession of stolen property, and reckless endangerment.

He was arraigned Thursday morning in Jamestown City Court and has taken to the County Jail.

No injuries were reported as result of the shooting.
