While the Bills' season may be over, Buffalo is still feeling the hype from the end of the playoff drought.
But it comes in different packaging: a sausage casing, to be precise.
It's called the "Mighty McDermott," and it's a sausage made in the Queen City at the Sloan Super Market.
Named for Bills head coach Sean McDermott, the store has the sausage at its meat counter.
And Sloan's part-owner, Gaeton Camillo, tells 7 Eyewitness News the Mighty McDermott's namesake has even dropped by to buy it.
"Sean's mother actually saw it online on social media, so he asked for us, " Camillo said. "He came out; he's one of the nicest guys."
And Camillo tells us McDermott and his family love it!
"They actually have the sausage at Sean's house after the game when he's in town," he said.
We're told McDermott even brought some of the sausage down to Jacksonville to share with the team when they broke the playoff drought.
Sloan Super Market is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
