A small earthquake has been recorded in western New York, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 1.4 magnitude earthquake was reported around 12:45 a.m Wednesday and measured about two miles in depth.
The epicenter was measured about five miles from Angola on the Lake and 14 miles from Buffalo.
