BUFAALO, NY (WKBW) — A U.S. Customs dog alerted authorities to a shipment of breakfast cereal, frosted with cocaine instead of sugar.
Federal authorities say that fake sugar coating amounted to about 45 pounds of cocaine.
Authorities say it has a street value of nearly $3 million.
The shipment originated in Peru, and was on its way to a private residence in Hong Kong before it was seized during transit at the Port of Cincinnati.
