A new tool is available for Erie County residents to track road closures and snow-conditions during storms.
The Erie County Department of Public Works unveiled the interactive tool earlier this week.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted this is "an interactive road status viewer that let's you check if a road is open, closed or caution is recommended due to snowy conditions."
A great new feature we have for this winter season from @ErieCountyDPW and @ErieCoDEP is an interactive road status viewer that let's you check if a road is open, closed or caution is recommended due to snowy conditions. Click here to view it: https://t.co/lkxT2hRAeo pic.twitter.com/hlcQXLPVXB

The map is parceled out by district: Clarence, Harlem, Hamburg, Aurora, Concord.
If the specific road is green, it's open. If the road is yellow, you're advised to use caution and if it's red, the road is closed.
You can find the Erie County DPW Road Status Viewer here.
