The snow that's been hitting the eastern part of New York is now making its way toward Western New York.
That prompted Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Thruway Authority to issue a temporary travel ban for tractor trailers on the I-90 from Exit 32, Rome, east to Exit 48, Batavia, until 6 a.m. Thursday.
The travel ban for tractor trailers comes following November's storm, when dozens of drivers got stuck on the Thruway between West Seneca and Hamburg.
This storm is much smaller but officials want to be prepared and remind motorists that it's best to be cautious in conditions like these.
