Three Buffalo fire hydrants continue to gush water, Thursday morning. One viewer tells us a hydrant on the corner of Niagara Street and Vermont Street has been running for nearly a week. Another hydrant on Rhode Island Street and Busti Avenue has also been flowing.
A spokesperson for the city of Buffalo says that a large water main valve needed to be replaced. This is how the water department flushes water through the system. The flush should be finished by the end of the week.
