Standoff ends peacefully at Seneca Niagara Casino

A standoff at the Seneca Niagara Casino has come to a peaceful end, according to Niagara Falls Police.

Crews were called to the Casino just before 7am on Monday, after a person, threatening suicide, barricaded themselves inside a hotel room at the casino.  The man did not have a weapon.

A women was also in the room during the time, but was never a hostage.  Police said she helped with negotiations. 

The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.  Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
