Jamestown residents who still need to file their taxes should check out the state's "mobile command center" Monday.
The Department of Financial Services vehicle will stop in Jamestown as part of a tax-season state tour meant to help New Yorkers file their taxes.
Tax department volunteers will help people prepare and file their taxes for free with user-friendly software.
The service is only for people with federal adjusted gross incomes under $62,000.
The mobile will be located at Jamestown Community College, 525 Falconer St, Jamestown, NY 14701, from noon to 6 p.m.
Since the tax filing season opened in January, the Tax Department has partnered with libraries and non-profit organizations to provide free assistance to taxpayers at 85 locations.
Details about times and locations are online at www.tax.ny.gov/fsa .
