NEW YORK (WKBW) — Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns announced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has issued an Executive Order which extends the period that expired driver’s licenses and permits are still valid until February 26, 2021.
If your driver's license or permit expired March 1, 2020 or after it will remain valid until at least February 26, 2021 but officials say you should renew it as soon as possible.
“I am pleased to say that our offices are accepting same day or next day appointments for motorists needing to renew local,” said Kearns. “Our office also provides FREE eye exams to motorists who require one upon renewing their license.”
