NEW YORK (WKBW) — Following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the state will honor her life and legacy with a statue in Brooklyn.
A commission will be appointed in the coming days to select an artist and undergo a location selection process.
In a tweet Cuomo said the statue "will serve as a physical reminder of Justice Ginsburg's monumental contributions to the America we know today and as an inspiration for all."
