The skiing and snowboarding season has yet to start in Western New York, and Holiday Valley is hoping to change that soon.
The resort has been making snow as often as possible, but Mother Nature still needs to cooperate in order for the trails to be opened.
Holiday Valley says it's working to build up a base on several trails, and is hoping to open Saturday.
