The Florida college student responded to an apology letter from an ex-girlfriend by grading it with a red pen and then posting it on twitter. The final result was a "D-minus" on the letter and a post that went viral.

Lutz littered the margins of the letter with his corrections at one point responding to the line "I never cheated on you" with "Strong statement. No supporting details to support your hypothesis".
Lutz concluded by giving the letter a grade of 61 out of 100 and added the following critique "Long intro, short conclusion. Strong hypothesis but nothing to back it up. Details are important. While this gesture is appreciated, I would prefer details over statements. Revision for half credit will be accepted."
