We've had our first major blast of Lake Effect snow across Western New York. Now -- here comes the cold.
Temperatures are expected to start dropping Wednesday. After a high temperature expected of 33 on Tuesday, Wednesday's high won't get past the freezing point. As another round of Lake Snow intensifies that night in the Southern Tier and northeast of downtown Buffalo, temperature across the region will drop into the teens.
Thursday -- those temperatures won't get any better, with the high temperature expected around 14 in downtown Buffalo, and colder to the South. It will feel like 0 to -10 during the day.
Thursday night, the overnight low will be between 5 and -5 across Western New York.
"Warmer" weather returns Saturday, with temperatures possibly reaching as high as 36 degrees.
