An academic building at SUNY Fredonia was evacuated Tuesday due to a phoned-in bomb threat.
The school warned the on-campus community via Twitter it was evacuating Thompson Hall around 1 p.m. due to a police matter. A university spokesperson tells 7 Eyewitness News the evacuation was a precautionary response to the bomb threat.
The school later tweeted Thompson Hall would be closed until 5 p.m. All classes before then are cancelled.
