City of Olean Police Department says it has arrested the suspect responsible for the rash of car break-ins over the last two weeks.
Police say David Showers, 34, was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with ten counts of petit larceny. More charges are pending upon further investigation.
Officers say Showers admitted to entering 30 unlocked vehicles and stealing items ranging from cash to cigarettes to loose change.
Showers is being held in Olean city jail lockup while he awaits arraignment.
