A suspicious package found this morning in front of Hinsdale Central School turned out to be a students school project.
Police were called to the school after some parents noticed the package as they dropped their children off this morning. Bomb Squads from both Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties investigated and the school was put on a shelter in place order by the district.
It appears a student accidently dropped the package on their way into class. The all-clear was given and school resumed as normal.
