Closures for the largest two-day food festival in the country begin at noon on Friday.
The 34th annual Taste of Buffalo is on Saturday, July 8th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Starting on Friday, June 7th, Delaware Avenue starting at Chippewa Street to Niagara Square will be closed to inbound traffic. The following portions will also be closed.
o Court between Franklin & Niagara Square
o Perkins between Elmwood & Niagara Square
o Niagara between Elmwood & Niagara Square
o West Genesee between Franklin & Niagara Square
o West Mohawk between Elmwood & Franklin
o West Huron between Elmwood & Franklin
o Cary between Elmwood & Delaware
At 5 p.m. Delaware Avenue will be closed to outbound traffic from Chippewa to Niagara Square.
The streets will remain closed until late Sunday night.
