We are a little less than a month away from one of Buffalo's favorite summer events. The Taste of Buffalo is set to celebrate the festivals 33rd year this summer and on Friday the event held a kickoff party to promote what's new for 2016.
Already recognized as the largest two-day food festival in the country, The Taste of Buffalo will boast a record 62 different vendors in 2016. Those who attend will have the opportunity to try more than 250 different food items and can cool off at the brand new hometown beer tent.
Also for the first time there will be a healthy eating competition where people will face off to see who can eat the most kale.
The 33rd Taste of Buffalo runs July 9th and 10th.
