Taxi driver accused of running over fare

Buffalo Police are investigating an incident involving a cab driver suspected of running over one of his customers.
Officers say the incident happened just before 11 o'clock Saturday night on Benzinger Street.
The victim told police he was trying to pay his taxi cab fare, when the suspect who was driving for Buffalo Taxi hit him several times.
The victim also had a 1-year-old baby with him at the time.
The suspect fled the scene in his taxi.
