Teen and boyfriend indicted for murdering step-grandfather

The Erie County District Attorney's office announced 17-year-old Alexandria Heath and 20-year-old Romaine Jirdon have been arraigned on an indictment charging both with the murder death of Heath's 58-year-old step-grandfather Thomas Heath. 

Heath and Jirdon pleaded not guilty and were placed in jail without bail.

According to police, on November 17th, 2017 at 9:30 p.m., Heath and boyfriend Jirdon beat, stabbed, and robbed 58-year-old Thomas Heath in his home on Ferry Street in Buffalo. 

If convicted, Jirdon faces a maximum of life in prison without parole and Heath faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
