Orchard Park Police were sent to Orchard Park Middle School after several alarm zones were activated overnight.
Police say when maintenance personnel entered the building they found evidence that the building had been entered.
Patrols began a foot chase of a 14-year-old from Orchard Park who was caught in a wooded lot nearby. He was returned to the OPPD and his parents.
The teen was charged with burglary, petit larceny, possession of stolen property and possession of burglar's tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
