This weekend, WKBW-TV will host the 56th annual Variety Kid's Telethon and this year we will remember our beloved Irv Weinstein.
Irv died this past December at his retirement home in California after an 18 month battle with ALS, but for many years he was the face and voice of our annual telethon to help the kids.
There were many special moments on those broadcasts and we brought Irv back for the 50th anniversary show a few years ago, along with Tom Jolls and Rick Azar.
