HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — Train enthusiasts flock to this part of Hamburg. The Artcraft toy Train store is here and inside they sell tickets to ride a real train.
For the past few years a group of dedicated volunteers has been offering rides on their Buffalo Cattaraugus & Jamestown Scenic Railway.
Jim Doran is one of the volunteers and he says "We are one hundred percent volunteer. Everyone who works on the train, doing maintenance, selling tickets, it's all volunteer time."
Later this month they will offer Fall Foliage trips, then Halloween excursions and during the holidays their most popular train rides include Santa & his Elves.
