Trouble spots Thursday night took the "rush" out of the rush hour.. While the lake effect snow was snarling traffic in many places around Western New York, causing motorists to spend hours in their cars, some folks were lucky enough to end up at Tops on South Park in Hamburg.

Michael Harlach an assistant manager at Tops was on duty during the storm and says the stuck travelers were in good spirits. He said "it was a funny atmosphere, typical Buffalo mentality during the Winter, people making jokes.
