The Town of Amherst collected the most fines in all of Upstate New York in 2017.
That's according to records from the New York State's Comptrollers Office.
The site NewYorkUpstate.com took those records and ranked the towns and villages upstate that collect the money from traffic tickets and minor violations.
Amherst collected a total of $3,423,519 million in fines in 2017.
The Town of Hamburg, West Seneca, Cheektowaga and Tonawanda also made the list of top 50 towns that collected the most money from fines.
Every town and village outside of New York City was included in the database.
