Thousands gathered in Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood Sunday for a colorful celebration.
People lined Elmwood Avenue for the 2016 Buffalo Pride Parade.
Those attending enjoyed more than 100 vibrant floats and entertaining performances that took place this year.
The parade gives the LGBT community and supporters a chance to celebrate their history, culture and achievements.
"This parade means a lot to me," said Jamie Ackerman, a parade attendee. "I run the GSA at my school, so 'm all about equality. We are just like everyone else and we love to party and have a good time and all the positive vibes."
This was the 25th year for the Buffalo Pride Parade.
