Three people had to be rescued from the Buffalo River overnight Tuesday.
A family member contacted us, saying her son was trying to harm himself when he jumped into the water. She says the boy's brother and a friend then jumped in to try and help.
This happened around 12:30 a.m. near Seneca Street and Jordan Place.
The Buffalo Fire Department lowered two extension ladders down a wall and assisted everyone out of the water.
One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The two other people appeared to be okay.
