A Tonawanda man has been charged with possession of child pornography.
Federal prosecutors said Steven Brzezinski, 33, possessed a tablet containing child pornography while on probation for an unrelated offense.
Brzezinski, who has a previous conviction for endangering the welfare of a child, made an initial court appearance Tuesday. He is being held pending a detention hearing scheduled for July 17.
The charge against Brzezinski carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
