The Town of Tonawanda Board approved the demolition of a pedestrian bridge on Sheridan Drive near Delaware road Monday.
The pedestrian bridge was closed two years ago because of safety concerns. Demolishing the bridge will cost $100,000.
The town engineer as well as the board will be considering and accepting bids from demolition crews in June.
