Out with the old and in with the new.
The Buffalo Police Department announced that the new police headquarters located on 68 Court Street will open to the public Friday.
The old headquarters on Franklin Street is now closed to the public, but will remain used be officers.
"The prisoner property pick up or any type of evidence handling that will still occur over at Franklin Street, as well as our range, credit union and Police Benevolent Association," Captain Jeff Rinaldo said.
Authorities say anyone that needs a copy of a police report may go to any police district to request one.
The new Dillon Public Safety Headquarters will be open to the public from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. An official grand opening of the new headquarters will be held on Monday, November 1st.
