Community members looking to have a say on the location of the new train station in Buffalo can make their suggestions January 19.
After weather earlier this month forced the public meeting for input on the train's location to be postponed, Mayor Byron Brown announced the new meeting which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Buffalo Common Council Chamber, located on the 13th floor of Buffalo City Hall.
"We are pleased that there is so much community interest in the train station selection project and look forward to hearing testimony from residents on potential sites across the City of Buffalo," said Mayor Brown.
Anyone interested in presenting a location nomination must complete and return a reply form, which can be found on the City of Buffalo website, as soon as possible. It must be fully completed and returned for the person to be confirmed for a time slot and/or notified if there is an emergency postponement or cancellation.
The registration deadline is January 13.
Presentations can be submitted online for review at BuffaloRising@City-Buffalo.com or at the meeting registration desk (20 copies should be presented).
