Two men from the town of Concord are facing charges after shooting a deer from a moving pickup truck.
According to the State Department of Environmental Conservation, the men shot a doe on January 30th and left it about 60 yards from the road along with an open can of beer.
The men are charged with illegally taking a wild deer, taking wildlife with the aid of a motor vehicle, taking wildlife from a public highway, possessing a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, and discharging a firearm on a public highway.
Both men face possible penalties of up to $5,375 and could have their hunting privileges revoked.
