Two weeks since North Tonawanda volunteer firefighter's apartment was set on fire

North Tonawanda Volunteer Firefighter Ken Walker is still trying to get back on his feet, following his apartment fire nearly two weeks ago.

Walker's burned in an arson fire that investigators say was set by his neighbor and former firefighter Matthew Jurado. Authorities say Jurado confessed to torching Walker's home.

This happened just days after the family received a threatening letter in the mail with racial slurs.

Jurado, 39, claims he didn't write the note. He appeared in court last week for public defender assignment. He's expected back in court next week.

As soon as this story hit national news, firefighters from at least 26 states reached out to Gratwick Hose Fire Company in North Tonawanda to help the Walker family.

But it's still unknown who wrote the threatening letter to Ken Walker.
