UB Bulls Basketball, Football, and beers?

From the men's and women's basketball teams to the football team, University at Buffalo Athletics are having some of their best years in school history, and in an effort to enhance the fan experience at these events the school has announced a new pilot program will be introduced.

In a news release, The University at Buffalo announced a new pilot program to sell beer at men's and women's basketball games this season as well as football games next fall.

The program is set to be introduced starting with the men's basketball game on Saturday Nov. 24th against Marist at Alumni Arena.

In a statement in the news release the school says:

The goal of the UB Athletics Department has always been to create the best game-day environment for its fans. Improvements in recent years included the creation of Stampede Square and its Tailgate Concerts as well as a variety of food trucks and family-friendly activities.

UB has come to an agreement with Try-It distributing which will provide a variety of beers at athletic venues to fans that are 21-years-old or older.

There wil be special kiosks at Alumni Arena which will serve beer.

UB joins several other NCAA institutions that offer beer sales at their venues.
